Michael Strahan reveals his daughter's cancer diagnosis on 'Good Morning America

Richard Shotwell/Richard Shotwell/Invision/AP Good Morning America host and former NFL player Michael Strahan revealed on Thursday's show that a rare form of brain cancer called medulloblastoma had recently been discovered in his teen daughter.

"I'm exceptionally glad for her and she's forever areas of strength for been this is the sort of thing that is private to such an extent that I couldn't say whether it would be something that she'd need to share," Strahan said.

However, Isabella Strahan, a 19-year-old University of Southern California student, decided to share her own story with Robin Roberts of GMA.

According to Isabella, she began experiencing severe headaches, nausea, and inability to walk straight in September. From the get go, she assumed she had dizziness. Yet, in late October, she started heaving blood. She messaged her twin sister Sophia, who educated the rest regarding the family. Michael Strahan then took her to the specialist.
